EU: Eurozone inflation 0.7% in October, lowest since 2009

Inflation across the eurozone fell to 0.7 percent in October, the lowest level for the 17-country currency area for four years, the European Union said on Friday. The 12-month rate of consumer price increases was down from 1.1 percent in September, according to the Eurostat data agency, which said electricity prices had been the main driver of inflation.
