G8 summit of leading industrial nations starts in North Ireland

The G8 summit of leading industrial nations kicked off in Northern Ireland on Monday with Western leaders upping pressure on Russia over its support for Syria's regime. Dressed casually without a jacket or tie, host Prime Minister David Cameron individually welcomed the leaders of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia and the United States on the banks of a lake at the Lough Erne golf resort.
