NATO: Syria buffer zone not on table yet

The question of imposing a buffer zone in Syria, as urged by Turkey, is not being discussed by NATO member states at this stage, the alliance's Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said Thursday.
"We discussed this issue today during our meeting here," Stoltenberg said after talks with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in Ankara. "It has not been on the table of any NATO discussions yet and it is not an issue which is discussed in NATO," he added.
