Officials: Suicide bomber kills 10 in eastern Iraq

A suicide bomber killed at least 10 people on Monday in Khanaquin, a mostly Kurdish Iraqi town close to the border with Iran, security and medical officials said. The victims had gathered to celebrate the release of a video purportedly showing ailing Iraqi President Jalal Talabani, a Kurdish leader, casting his vote in Germany, where he is receiving treatment for a stroke, ahead of national parliamentary elections on Wednesday.
