Under the patronage of Industry and Commerce Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Ministry's Undersecretary for Commercial Affairs Nader Khalid Al Moayyed inaugurated the Autumn Fair2015 organised by the Arabian Exhibitions and Events Management Company, in the presence of Egyptian Ministry of the Environment Dr. Khalid Mohammed Fahmy and several Ambassadors of participating countries.
The event has attracted more than 750 local and international commercial establishments and firms from 20 countries to the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIECC) in January 21-29.
The Autumn Fair is one of the largest consumer shopping exhibitions in the region and is considered one of the biggest convergences of distributors, agencies, retailers, shoppers and one of the most visited. The Autumn Fair boosts competition, nurtures commercial activity and meets the needs of consumers at competitive rates.
Last year, 191,000 people visited the fair from inside the Kingdom of Bahrain and sisterly GCC countries, especially from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Bangladesh, China, Egypt, India, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Oman, Pakistan, Poland, Qatar, Singapore, Syria, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Yemen in addition to Bahrain-based companies participate in the event this year.
