22 ships transit New Suez Canal

As many as 22 ships transited the New Suez Canal on the first day of operation as part of the north-bound convoy, said a shipping source at the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) on Friday.
The source added that the south-bound convoy that crossed the old Suez canal included 32 vessels.
World leaders attended on Thursday the opening ceremony of the New Suez Canal.
