The General Authority for Palestine Arab Refugees (GAPAR) and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) distributed 300 humanitarian aid packages in Yarmouk Camp in Damascus on Saturday.
GAPAR Director General Ali Mustafa told SANA that the aid, which was distributed with the help of the Syrian government, consisted of 300 food packages which were distributed at Rama Street in the Camp, adding that the UNRWA medical team in the distribution point provided medical services and medicine to locals. 9 persons were evacuated from the camp for medical reasons.
Mustafa added that the total of food packages that have been distributed since the beginning of the year reached 55,374.
