33,000 tons of wheat arrive at Alexandria port
Egypt's move to ditch government wheat inspectors upsets traders
Alexandria - MENA
A ship sailed into Alexandria port on Wednesday carrying 33,000 tons of wheat from Ukraine, said spokesman for the port authority Reda el Ghandour.
The shipment was unloaded after finalizing all required procedures and examining some samples to make sure they are fit for human consumption, he added.
The wheat shipment will be trucked from the port's silos to a number of governorates.
