Secretary General of the Arab Investors Union (AIU) Gamal Bayoumi revealed that as many as 40 investment projects are awaiting the Saudi businessmen in Egypt.
The statement comes ahead of the economic conference scheduled to set off in February in Sharm el-Sheikh.
"Mega projects in constructions, chemical and mineral industries, tourism, cinema, Suez Canal Corridor development, land reclamation, energy generation, water desalination, and infrastructure fields are ready to be discussed during the conference, said Bayoumi to the Saudi paper Okaz.
Giant projects are key to recovery of Egyptian economy, he added.
