Forty-nine ships, with a total cargo of 3.2 million tons, transited the Suez Canal on Wednesday.

The south-bound convoy included 23 vessels carrying 1.3 million tons, according to a statement issued by the Suez Canal Authority.

On the other hand, the north-bound convoy included 26 ships carrying 1.9 million tons.
