The industries of construction, public works and hydraulics (BTPH) are "attractive niche of Algerian-Tunisian partnership," said Wednesday in Oran, the director of economic and commercial mission at Tunisia embassy in Algeria (Tunisia export Algiers).
The large-scale projects to upgrade Algeria west’s main city to the level of the biggest cities of the Mediterranean basin are "an excellent investment opportunity for Tunisian companies," said Riadh Bezzarga during Algerian-Tunisian professional meetings on construction in Oran.
A majority of Tunisian companies identify Oran as "emblematic city of the momentum of the Algerian national program of economic development," he said.
The Director of the Tunisian mission also reported that other industries are targeted by operators from his country in Oran, including those related to heath care services and fashion dress.
More than 30 (thirty) Tunisian companies activating in building materials and related segments participated in this meeting, which follows a similar event in March 2012 in Oran.
Eight partnerships were established between companies from both countries.
Two Algerian-Tunisian professional meetings were held during the first half of 2014 in Algiers and Bejaia, respectively dedicated to automotive and food industries, while another will be dedicated to the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries in December in Constantine.
