Alberto Pedro D'Alotto (L)
Algiers - APS

The head of the work team in charge of Algeria's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), Alberto Pedro D'Alotto, said Sunday in Algiers that the relevant talks make good progress and an agreement would be reached by 2015.
"We are making a good progress (in the talks). We are optimistic that we will reach an agreement soon, maybe by 2015," D'Alotto said following a meeting with Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra.
"We should work a little more" about some issues to reach this goal, especially in relation to agriculture and investment system."
"We hope to reach an agreement by late 2015" and that Algeria gets WTO membership "as soon as possible," he underlined.
