Noureddine Bedoui
Algiers - APS

Minister of Vocational Training Noureddine Bedoui urged Saturday in Algiers out-of-school youth top grasp the opportunities offered by training in all specialties at the 1,200 facilities nationwide, so to boost national development.
Speaking during the open-door day on training opportunities, in preparation of the vocational new (session September 2014), the minister affirmed training is possible for all categories and in all specialties calling young people to exploit them in order to contribute to national development and address deficit in some fields such as construction.
The need in foreign labor in the building trades (plumbing, electricity and masonry) should be reduced in the five coming years thanks to the growing recourse to local labour, he said.
Now, the access to the world of work is determined by qualifying training, stressed the minister who recalled that the Algerian institutions offered training methods for all categories and age groups.
He has "emphasized the need for the Algerian and foreign economic enterprises to contribute to the training and qualification of young people in different specialties," recalling the Prime Minister's Directive in this regard. "Training is the responsibility of everyone," he insisted.
