A company for distribution of locally manufactured cars will be created by the end of 2014, under an Algerian-Emirati partnership, the sales manager of the National Company of Industrial Vehicles (SNVI) disclosed Monday.
The company is the third partnership project among the ministry of National Defence, the SNVI and the United Arab Emirates group Aabar, Ali Issoulah told APS.
SNVI official was speaking on the sidelines of the international subcontracting show "ALGEST 2014," which opened Monday at the Convention Centre "Mohamed Benahmed."
The two partners have carried out two projects, the first in Rouiba, Algiers, for the manufacturing of heavy trucks under the brand "Mercedes Benz," and the second with the SNVI in Tiaret (340-km southwest of Algiers).
The distribution firm will carry out sales and after-sales services for products made by SNVI subsidiaries, from various parts of the country, according to the source.
Sales will be launched in Rouiba and Tiaret in July 2015.
