Over 80 BBBF members and guests attended the monthly networking luncheon with guest speaker Simon Brebner, Chief Commercial Officer, from APM Terminals Bahrain.
The event gave insight into the port operators’ role at Khalifa Bin Salman Port (KBSP) and its significance in connecting economies.
APM Terminals, headquartered in The Hague, has recently celebrated its five year anniversary managing the port. KBSP is one of the world’s only multiuse ports and with its central location in the heart of the Arabian Gulf; it is a strategic location for accessing Saudi Arabia and the Upper Gulf region.
Speaking at the meeting, Simon Brebner said "With 2 main lines services connecting Bahrain to key Asian and US markets, we believe KBSP’s role in connecting regional and international economies is essential.
APM Terminals Bahrain continuously seeks to improve our programs and lift the standards of global trade, while also ensuring sustainability in all aspects of our business to achieve maximum effectiveness and long-term success."
