Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, today received Director General of United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), LI Yong, who is currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
UNIDO Director General is visiting the country to participate in the First International Entrepreneurs Investment Forum, which is being held under the patronage of HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. He also participated in the International Forum on Green Economy and Technologies held yesterday under the auspices of HM the King's Personal representative, HH Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The minister hailed the UN efforts in supporting industrial and service sectors in Bahrain.
He underlined Bahrain's appreciation for UN adoption of Bahrain's training entrepreneurs pioneering model, which has been approved by many countries of the world.
He underscored the importance of reinforcing bilateral cooperation in boosting the national economy.
