Bahrain Truck and Trailer Company (BATTCO) has launched a new showroom exhibiting German manufacturers AL-KO's trailer components in Bahrain.
Undersecretary Osama Mohammed Al-Arayyedh opened the facility under the patronage of Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Abdulla Fakhro.
The launch ceremony was attended by BATTCO General Manager Ahmed Ali Kadhim, AL-KO representative for Asia Achim Weissmueller and other businessmen.
The undersecretary and other ministry officials toured the facility which showcases coachworks and structures for motor vehicles and manufacturing trailers and semi-trailers in addition to spare parts.
BATTCO General Manager Ahmed Ali Kadhim announced plans to expand, diversify products and boost productivity, pointing out that the firm includes at present 180 units.
In a statement on the sidelines of the launch ceremony, he extended thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership for supporting the private sector as part of efforts to revitalize local industries.
He commended the Government for its unrelenting efforts to bolster the industrial and trade sectors in Bahrain.
