The exhibition comes to support the major progress for infrastructure projects in the Sultanate as they managed to attract big companies around the world to view the available investment opportunities.  The Omani government is going ahead with expanding its activities at various levels in line of the Sultanate's economic vision 2020. The exhibition will bring together many global companies specialized in systems of air conditioning, sanitary and construction materials, floor ceramic tiles, cleaning equipment, management solutions, cement products, building vehicles, curtains, furniture, floor materials, as well as companies for heavy vehicles, decorations, kitchen products, marble and stone products, drilling equipment, security and protection systems and wooden products. The exhibition will also gather professionals in building and construction industry at the local, regional and international levels.  The exhibition represents a good platform to directly meet and interact with purchasers who are seeking another source to develop their industries and obtaining construction materials and technology from suppliers, distributers, manufacturers, senior executives and decision-makers. On the sidelines of the exhibition, Big Show 2013 will be held.  It will present a number of working papers that study impact of the local culture on construction in the Sultanate, as well as impact of the major building movement on the general shape of the environment in Muscat. The working papers will also tackle other matters related to the legal aspect pertaining to important issues, such as the method of drafting and following contracts in the construction sector in the Sultanate.
