Construction of 755 housing units kicks-off in Bahrain

Housing Minister Bassim bin Yaqoub Al-Hamer announced the start of construction works on implementation of Block 609 in Sitra area in the Capital Governorate .
The construction project includes 755 residential units at a total cost of more than BD 3.5 million as part of the 40,000 housing units in compliance with the directive of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa under the 4-year national growth blueprint (i.e. Government Action Plan 2015-2018) which includes the construction of 25,000 housing units recently approved by the Council of Representatives.
