Dubai Aerospace Enterprise, DAE, has announced the appointment of Jeff Wilkinson as Chief Executive Officer of its subsidiary company, Jordan Aircraft Maintenance, Joramco.
Wilkinson was most recently Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways Engineering based in Abu Dhabi, responsible for several core business functions including Airframe and Component maintenance services, Supply Chain Management, Design Engineering, CAMO, Line and Light maintenance.
Prior to joining Etihad, Jeff played a key role as Head of Base and Line Maintenance for Swiss International Airlines, and worked with multiple leading industry MROs.
Commenting on the appointment, Khalifa H. AlDaboos, Chairman of Joramco, said, "We are thrilled to be able to recruit someone of Jeff’s calibre to lead Joramco. Based in Amman, Joramco provides commercial aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services to clients in Europe, Africa, Middle East and other parts of Asia. I am confident that Jeff’s leadership skills, industry expertise and decades-long experience of working in multi-cultural work environments will translate into an exciting new growth future for Joramco and its dedicated work force of 900 professionals."
