Demand for Egyptian workers abroad increased by 317 points in October compared to 251 points in the previous month, according to the Labor Demand Index published by the Egyptian Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).
The index also revealed that demand for workers both in Egypt and abroad went down to hit 288 points in October compared to 336 in the same period last month.
Domestic demand for Egyptian labor dropped to reach 746 points in October, added the report.
Demand for Egyptian workers with lower educational qualifications increased in October from the previous month to hit 825 points, according to the report.
