Dubai - WAM

The significance of the Dubai Industrial Strategy 2030 in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the global trends in industrial production will be in focus at the two-day ‘Future Manufacturing & Trade Summit’, organised jointly by Dubai Exports, the export promotion agency of Dubai Economy, and Expotrade Middle East.

The event will be held on 6th and 7th November, 2017, at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers.

Over 40 international and regional industry experts will attend the summit, sharing their observations on the future trends in manufacturing excellence and the key strategies to boost trade and economic development.

The summit will also listen to an update on the Dubai Industrial Strategy 2030, set to transform the emirate into a global platform for knowledge-based, sustainable and innovation-focused businesses.

"The Future Manufacturing and Trade Summit is a one-of-its-kind event, bringing together international and regional thought leaders and subject matter experts within the manufacturing industry to explore the technology advancements, business models and best practices to address operational efficiency and excellence in trade and manufacturing," commented Engineer Saed Al Awadi, CEO of Dubai Exports.

The summit will feature keynote sessions, panel discussions and case studies on topics shaping the future of manufacturing and trade industry in the region. Al Awadi said the outcomes and recommendations of the summit would be valuable in developing initiatives for the industrial sector and for the Dubai Industrial Strategy 2030.
