A daily 330 million cubic feet of gas has been added to the national grid after four new wells were placed on the production map.
The wells were discovered in concession areas of ENI, BP and Shell petroleum companies, according to a report by EGAS that Petroleum Minister Tareq el Molla received Wednesday.
The four wells are: Nidoco North West - 6 , which produces 140 million cubic feet daily, Nidoco West - 2, which produces 100 million cubic feet daily, Taurt - 8, which produces a daily 70 million cubic feet, and Sitra 3-3, which produces 20 million cubic feet per day, the report said.
