The Egyptian embassy in India, in a cooperation with its consulate in Mumbai, organized Wednesday a forum to expound trade and investment opportunities in Egypt.
Held at the trade and industry chamber in Mumbai, the forum was meant to boost bilateral ties, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
During the forum, Egypt's ambassador in New Delhi Hatem Tag el-Din got the attendees updated with economic and political conditions in Egypt and efforts of the government to achieve stability in the country and to fight terrorism.
Tag el-Din asserted that Egypt will complete a road map set on July 3, 2013 for democratic rule before the end of the year.
