Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr held a meeting with Lubna Al Qasimi, Minister of Development and International Cooperation to discuss promoting cooperation.
During the meeting, Nasr said that Egypt, people and government, is keen on enhancing relations with the United Arab Emirates.
Nasr praised the UAE’s role in support Egypt following the June 30 revolution to meet the aspiration of the Egyptian people.
The Egyptian minister reviewed Sinai Peninsula development program, including an integrated group of projects in the sectors of housing, roads, agricultural development and education.
Nasr underlined the importance of coordinating efforts with the international institution to realize the of sustainable development goals.
For her part, Al Qasimi praised the historic relations binding between Egypt and the UAE.
She stressed the UAE’s support for the development of Sinai.
The UAE is keen on supporting the aspiration of the Egyptian people, Al Qasimi said.
Al Qasimi invited Nasr to take part in the government summit hosted by the UAE in February 2016 with the participation of a number of countries.
