Minister of Transport Hani Dahi has witnessed inking a contract between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the Egyptian National Railways to develop 300 train carriages.

In a statement on Thursday, Spokesman for the Ministry Ayman El Shariey said the project will cost 262 million pound.

The contract came in line with directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to maximize local production and replace foreign expertise with Egyptian counterparts.
