Egyptian bourse indices showed varied performance at close of trading on Thursday amid selling operations by investors and purchase operations by Arab and Egyptian investment funds.
The market capital lost about 300 million pounds to reach 563.6 billion pounds, after transactions hit 1.1 billion pounds.
The EGX 30 benchmark index went down by 0.44 percent to close at 11,297.93 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index rose by 0.15 percent to reach 1,060.51 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased by 0.14 percent to 449.36 points.
The Egyptian Exchange will be off on Sunday on the occasion of Al Mualed al Nabawi (the birthday of Prophet Mohamed anniversary).
Trading will be resumed the following day, Monday, December 12.
