The ministerial committee in charge of preparing for economic and social development summits convened here Thursday.
The committee meeting, under the Saudi Deputy Finance Minister Hamad ben Soliman Bazei, will prepare reports on resolutions of previous economic summits and the progress realized so far in implementing them.
The reports will be referred to the Economic and Social Council meeting later Thursday.
Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Yemen, Jordan, UAE, Algeria, Lebanon and Mauritania will take part in the council meeting.
During the meeting, AL Assistant Secretary General Ahmed ben Helli urged preparing well for the fourth economic summit due to be held in Tunisia by the beginning of 2016.
