Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab arrived in Sharm Sheikh to follow up final preparations for a planned international economic conference slated for March 13-15.
Mahlab was accompanied by the ministers of local development, trade and industry, transport and civil aviation.
Upon arrival, Mahlab inspected a memorial (Peace Icon), which was established to be a symbol of peace in the city.
The conference is meant to send a message of peace and love for the world, Mahlab said.
Egypt will present a number of investment projects during the conference, he noted.
He stressed that the conference will be a serious step towards economic prosperity.
