The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) continues implementation of Ramadan programmes in a number of villages in association with social care societies in Pakistan.
The humanitarian assistance will continue to the end of the holy month of Ramadan. ERC Office in Islamabad, in cooperation with the UAE Embassy, has organised Iftar meals project at a village in Haripur District of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan benefitting 200 members of poor families.
Beneficiaries extended thanks and appreciation to the UAE's leadership and people for the gesture. ERC office also announced that it will start the second phase of distributing Eid clothing and zakat programmes.
