Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn has received an invitation to take part in Egypt's Economic Conference, slated for March, Ethiopia's official news agency reported on Friday.
This was disclosed during a meeting between the PM and Egypt's President Advisor for the National Security Faiza Abou el Naga
The two sides also discussed ways of enhancing development, peace and growth of the two countries.
Ethiopia's State Minister of Foreign Affairs Birhane Gebrekristos told reporters that the countries have reached agreement to increase their trade and investment ties.
The news agency quoted Abou el Naga as saying that Dessalegn has confirmed his participation at the conference to support the Egyptian economy.
