GFH, the Bahrain based Financial Group, today announced its Lead Sponsorship as the Islamic Banking Partner of The GCC Financial Forum organised by Euromoney to be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
GFH will support the fourth GCC Financial Forum, which is also backed by the Economic Development Board (EDB) and scheduled to be held in the Kingdom on the 24th and 25th of February 2015.
The forum will be inaugurated by Kamal bin Ahmed, Minister of Transportation and Acting Chief Executive of EDB, where a number of leading international experts in the region will meet to discuss the global economic outlook and its impact on regional markets and investment decisions of sovereign funds and ways of developing it. Other highlights of the 2015 conference will include a special ‘town-hall’ discussion with H.E. Mr. Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj, Governor, Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB).
GFH will be represented at the event by a delegation of its senior management team headed by the Bank's Chairman, Dr. Ahmed Al Mutawa and CEO, Hisham Al Rayes, highlighting GFH's ongoing commitment to supporting the industry’s growth. Following a speech by the CBB Governor during the first day of the conference, GFH Chairman Dr. Al Mutawa will be interviewed during a high level keynote session. The Bank will also take part as an exhibitor with a team of its regional relationship managers available to present the Bank's regional and international investment opportunities and projects to investors and potential partners.
The "2015 Euromoney GCC Financial Forum" will attract a high-level international audience, including financial institutions, policy makers, regulators and business people from the region. The Forum will also include keynote addresses, interviews and panel discussions.
