GITEX Shopper 2015, the largest and most anticipated consumer electronics show in the Middle East, on Saturday launched with top regional distributors and power retailers adding to the stellar line-up of exhibitors.
The eight day shopping extravaganza features more than 35,000 cutting-edge gadgets, and a record number of prizes from top name brands and power retailers to celebrate the show's 25th anniversary.
Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director-General, Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) and Director-General, Dubai World Trade Centre Authority, opened the event, taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) until Saturday, 10th October.
Thousands of eager shoppers packed Sheikh Saeed Halls 1, 2 and 3 on the first day of the show, taking advantage of the latest deals on smartphones, digital cameras, UHD TVs, tablets and a broad spectrum of the latest electronic gadgets. The fun festival atmosphere saw visitors enjoying live music and entertainment, interactive product trials and a host of incredible giveaways. A wide choice of casual dining options added to a great day out for the family.
