The 12th edition of the “Invest in Bahrain 2017” forum opened at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIECC).

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa deputised his advisor His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa to open the forum, being organised by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.

HH Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa conveyed greetings from HRH the Premier to the organisers and participants in the “Invest in Bahrain 2017”, wishing the forum success to contribute in developing the investment sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

He reiterated the keenness of the Government, chaired by HRH the Premier, on promoting Bahrain’s investment attractiveness through a wide-ranging and comprehensive vision aimed at revitalising all economic sectors and encouraging capitals and the private sector to seize the opportunities and invest in promising projects.

He hailed the flux of foreign investments, stressing Bahrain’s business-friendly environment, openness, developed infrastructure and flexible laws which keep abreast of global trends.

He said that the encouragement of investment represents a key pillar of the Government’s work to diversify the sources of revenues, achieve sustainable national economy and create jobs.

HH Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa said that the Kingdom of Bahrain is bracing for a boom in development projects in all fields, which, he said, would generate a boon of promising opportunities.

He welcomed the participants in the “Invest in Bahrain 2017” from the GCC states, Arab and foreign countries, hailing the importance of the forum which he described as a platform to get informed about the Bahrain’s incentives and facilities benefiting investors.

The “Invest in Bahrain 2017” is also an occasion to showcase investment opportunities in all fields, particularly in the sectors of industry, infrastructure, entrepreneurship and e-commerce.
