Under the patronage of HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister, Jewellery Arabia2014 has officially been inaugurated by Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIECC).
The five-day show features high-end international brands, independent designers, retailers and manufacturers from across the globe.
Minister of Industry and Commerce also Chairman of Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority Dr. Hassan Abdulla Fakhro praised His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain for his continued patronage for Jewellery Arabia since its inception in 1992 and support to the exhibition industry which contributed largely in making Bahrain a key and strategic location for the exhibitions sector.
The Minister said that Jewellery Arabia represents the flagship of exhibitions in Bahrain and is a leading jewellery and watches exhibition in the Middle East both in terms of quality, size and global participation from around the world.
The 23rd exhibition in this prestigious annual series is open in the period November 18-22 and is set to welcome over 600 companies from 30 nations. On sale will be the largest display of finished jewellery, luxury timepieces, precious stones, antiques and objets d’art in the Middle East.
Jewellery Arabia has evolved into the single most important jewellery and watch exhibition in the Middle East. Its reputation, size, quality of exhibits and sheer variety is unique in the region. The show is seen as an essential buying event for private collectors and the trade. Extraordinary designers choose Jewellery Arabia as their sole platform in the Middle East, whilst many more use the exhibition as an opportunity to showcase exclusive and new collections.
"Visitors can look forward to exclusive previews, inspiring trends, one-of-a-kind design pieces and the opportunity to purchase from a wide choice of the finest jewellery from across the globe," said Arabian Exhibition Management’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Fawzi Al-Shehabi.
