The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) signed Sunday an agreement with the Jordanian government to allocate USD 18 million to finance relief projects of the Syrian refugees in the kingdom.
The agreement came to aid the Jordanian government in its efforts aiming at overcoming the challenges of the massive influx of Syrians into the neighboring country, said Jordan's Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Ibrahim Saif.
Saif asserted that the grant would target the health sector and infrastructures of the Jordanian cities, towns and villages, where the Syrian refugees are present.
