Kuwait grants Palestine $50 million in budget support

Kuwait announced on Wednesday that it decided to grant the Palestinian Authority $50 million in budget support. The money was paid to the World Bank, which will transfer it to the Palestinian Authority, the official WAFA news agency reported today. President Mahmoud Abbas thanked Kuwait for its support of the Palestinian people at a time the Palestinian Authority was facing financial difficulties.
