Kuwait's Capital Markets Authority (CMA) has emphasized the significance of an MoU signed with UAE counterpart, Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA).
The deal was concluded on Monday as part of the third session of the UAE-Kuwaiti Higher Committee that wrapped up two-day talks in Abu Dhabi today.
The MoU, signed by Chairman of CMA Board of Commissioners Nayef Al-Hajraf and CEO of the SCA Abdullah Salem Al-Turaifi, will help enhance bilateral cooperation, the Kuwaiti authority said in a statement.
It will also boost joint assistance and exchange of data to guarantee application of relevant laws on securities activites, the CMA added.
