Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab held a meeting Saturday to follow up a number of development projects in South Sinai governorate.
The get-together was attended by ministers of trade and industry, water resources and irrigation as well as agriculture, South Sinai governor and some officials concerned.
During the meeting, South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda presented some agricultural and industrial ventures implemented as part of the state's efforts to develop Sinai.
He underlined that there are 10,000 feddans in Tor and 4,000 others will be planted by the Armed Forces.
The water resources and irrigation minister discussed a report about the wells that will be dug in the project and systems of protecting the land against floods.
The agriculture minister underscored that crops that will be planted are considered now.
