Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab said the government was working hard to encourage foreign direct investments to raise the growth rate in the country.
During a meeting with Italian businessmen on Wednesday, he described Italian-Egyptian ties as strong, pointing out that Egypt enjoys good investment opportunities in all fields but it needs Italy's expertise .
The prime minister said that Egypt is stable now and has a political road map which will be completed after the election of a new parliament.
He proposed to Italian businessmen establishing schools in Egypt to allow Egyptians to get Italian expertise especially in automotive industry, pointing out that all Egyptian doors are open before businessmen.
