MB asset-management committee foils fund smuggling bid

A committee assigned with freezing and running the assets of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group foiled a bid by the wife of a Moslem Brotherhood leader to smuggle $400,000.
The wife of Ibrahim Ebeid, whose funds and assets have been frozen under a court ruling, tried to smuggle $400,000 from an unannounced bank account.
Also, 14 companies and 12 civil societies owned by MB leaders have been confiscated, committee secretary general Yasser Abul Fotouh said.
