President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met Sunday with Investment Minister Ashraf Salman to discuss preparations for holding a conference on investment in the Upper Egyptian cities, said spokesman for the Presidency Alaa Yousef.
The conference will be held in Hurghada in September 2015.
The conference will offer incentives for investors to channel their funds into investment projects in Upper Egypt.
Preparations for the conference cover the detailed files of projects that will be put forward to investors.
Salman briefed President Sisi on measures taken by the Ministry to attract Arab and Foreign investors.
President underlined the importance of following up the state plan to develop remote areas and the most-needy cities.
Sisi called for continuing necessary measures to facilitate investments.
