Qatar General Insurance and Reinsurance Company (QGIRC) will distribute 10% cash dividend, QR 1 for each held share and 15% bonus shares, a Qatar Exchange notification said Thursday. This decision among other were announced after the Ordinary and Extraordinary General Assembly meetings held here Wednesday. The Board of Directors report for the year 2012 on the company’s operations, financial position and the company’s future plans as well as the auditor’s report on the company financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2012 were approved. At the second Extra-Ordinary Meeting the assembly approved the Board of Directors’ proposal to increase the capital of the company to QR 576,460,500 by giving bonus shares equal to one and a half share for every ten shares held.
