Minister of Transport Dr. Jubarah bin Eid Al-Suraiseri signed today 46 contracts at a cost of more than SR 2.1 billion for projects in its annual budget in the area of implementation, maintenance and electrical works, computer and consulting, (study, design and supervision), in various regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In a press statement, the Minister said that the Ministry of Transport had previously signed contracts worth more than SR 6.3 billion and they are part of the projects that have been adopted in the current year's budget, pointing that the total value of contracts that have been signed up to date reached about SR 8.4 billion.
On the occasion, Minister of Transport extended thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; the Crown Prince and the Deputy Crown Prince for their support and care to the transport sector.
