Saudi Transtec 2017, a premier gathering of the logistics and transport community to be held under the aegis of the Ministry of Transport, will focus on the practicalities of Vision 2030 and implications for the logistics and transport sector.
To be held from December 5 to 7 at the Dhahran International Exhibition Center, the forum is supported by the Ministry of Transport and the Asharqia Chamber of Commerce.
Now in its 8th year, the forum will highlight Vision 2030 and National Transformation Plan 2020 objectives related to the logistics and the transport sector, and their implications for the logistics and transport community, a representative from the Oxford Business Group, an associate partner of the event, said Wednesday.
With the challenges come opportunities, and there are both challenges and opportunities in Vision 2030, which have the potential to transform the Saudi economy from innovation and skills to attracting foreign direct investment.
According to the organizers, this will be achieved with the productive support and fruitful participation of the Kingdom’s logistics and transport communities, and the forum will provide a unique platform to meet and network, learn and develop corporate strategies, and assess the latest trends and innovations in this sector.
In addition to the conferences, the forum will host an exhibition that will bring together logistics services providers from all sectors of the supply chain with logistics buyers, experts and senior management from all the main industries in the Kingdom and the GCC.
