President Abdel Fattah El Sisi will hold a meeting on Tuesday with the specialized council for economic development, Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef said.
The meeting will be held at the presidential headquarters.
Last month, Sisi issued a decree to establish four presidential councils specialized in community development, education and scientific research, economic development, and foreign policy and national security.
The members of the councils were appointed by presidential decree and include experts, specialists and youth.
The community development council proposes and studies general policies of social projects and organizes activities between individuals and governmental and private bodies.
The council of education and scientific research frames the overall education policy, helps technological research institutes and proposes new legislations for the establishment of new research centers.
The economic council proposes studies to increase productivity and studies problems hindering economic growth.
The foreign policy and national security contributes to enhancing the Egyptian foreign relations, proposing initiatives backing stability and peace in the region.
