UAE Embassy participates in blue economy conference in Sicily

The UAE embassy in Italy has participated in the International Conference on Blue Economy hosted recently by Palermo, the regional capital of Sicily.
The conference discussed a wide range of emergency topics on healthcare, migration, heritage, peace and development and use of water resources in the states of Europe, Mediterranean Sea, Africa and the Middle East.
The delegates also explored the possibility of launching a campaign for marketing Sicily's marine products. Creative, novel solutions for development of the blue economy were also on the agenda.
A group of Italian decision-makers and an elite group of blue economy economists, researchers and businessmen participated in the event.
