Dubai-based Union Properties is to unveil Dh1.78bn worth of new projects at the annual Cityscape Global exhibition which takes place between 21- 23 September in Dubai.
Union Properties says these include a Dh1.1bn high-rise development consisting of five towers in Motor City known as Vertex towers, an Dh680 mn extension of the Green Community West scheme at Dubai Investment Park and a new Green Community at Motor City.
Vertex Towers will contain 700 two- and three-bed apartments with a gross floor area of more than 1.32mn ft2, with some duplex units and 66,000ft2 of retail space. It is currently being designed by Agostine and Raphael Group and will be delivered in two phases. The first will see the delivery of two towers of 45 and 30 storeys and will start on site in February 2015, with completion due by February 2018.
The Green Community West scheme will contain 210 villas and 16 two- and three-bed apartments overlooking a lake. It is due to complete in Q4 2016.
The Green Community at Motor City will be developed by a partnership with National Bonds. It is an Dh400mn project containing 78 villas and 127 apartments. It is set for completion in October 2016.
Ahmad Khalaf Al Marri, general manager of Union Properties, said, " Motor City has a strategic location with multiple entry and exit points as well as easy access to the Expo 2020 site and the Maktoum International Airport. The area will boast a number of hotels, and I believe Motor City has the potential in developing into a prominent living community."
