US aircraft carrier Harry Truman transits Suez Canal heading for Arab Gulf

Aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman and seven military units transited Suez Canal on Monday, an official navigation source in Suez Canal Authority told MENA.
They were en route from the Mediterranean to the Red Sea then to the Arab Gulf where it will be stationed.
The carrier, accompanied by seven destroyers, was among the south-bound convoy.
Intensified security measures were taken during the 15-minute crossing of the carrier, he added.
