Albanian agricultural products recorded the largest increase in exports last year compared to a year ago, doubling the sector's contribution to the Albanian economy, Albanian Telegraphic Agency reported on Sunday.
According to official data during 2014 agricultural exports from Albania amounted to 4.1 billion lek (31.3 U.S. million dollars) from 2.7 billion lek in 2013.
Albanian agricultural products were mainly exported to Kosovo and other Balkan regions, such as Serbia, Bulgaria, and Montenegro.
